We are employment opportunity for a Medical Front Desk Specialist in Bakersfield, California. As a Medical Front Desk Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, handling tasks such as processing patient applications, maintaining patient records, and scheduling appointments.

Responsibilities :

• Accurately and efficiently process patient applications using relevant software systems such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dentrix Dental Software, and Eaglesoft.
• Maintain up-to-date and precise patient records in the EHR SYSTEM.
• Handle inbound calls and operate switchboards with 1-10 lines, ensuring top-notch customer service.
• Schedule patient appointments effectively and efficiently.
• Perform billing functions and generate charts and graphs as needed.
• Check patients in and out of the office, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience.
• Utilize medical front office skills to provide exceptional service to all patients.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the role of a Medical Front Desk Specialist within the Financial Services industry
• Proficiency in using Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, and Dentrix Dental Software
• Experience with Eaglesoft and EHR SYSTEM is required
• Ability to promptly answer and efficiently manage inbound calls
• Experience in performing billing functions with accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficient in creating and interpreting charts and graphs
• Experience in checking patients in and out during their visits
• Knowledge of medical front office procedures and protocols
• Ability to operate switchboards and manage phone lines (1 - 10 lines)
• Experience in scheduling patient appointments effectively and efficiently.
