Position Details
Location: Sebastopol, CA
Coverage Area: May occasionally float to nearby clinics in Guerneville and Occidental
Setting: Primary Care / Outpatient Clinic
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule
- Monday-Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Occasional evening shifts: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Rotating Saturdays: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
What You'll Do
- Welcome and room patients for appointments
- Obtain and document vital signs accurately
- Assist healthcare providers with patient care and clinical procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Deliver exceptional customer service and patient support
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
- Travel between clinic locations as needed to support patient care
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 6 months of Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting
- Experience with patient intake, rooming patients, and obtaining vital signs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service mindset
- Ability to adapt to different clinic environments
- Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented approach
Additional Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must meet all federal, state, and facility requirements
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards
- Ability to travel between clinic locations when needed
