As we continue to grow and expand our services, we are seeking a qualified Medical Director to join us on a locums / 1099 basis.
Position Overview : We are currently seeking a dedicated Medical Director to oversee our medical operations and provide leadership and guidance to our healthcare team in the Durham, NC area. The Medical Director will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and promoting a culture of excellence. This position offers a full-time schedule with flexible shifts and competitive compensation.
Responsibilities :
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the medical staff, including physicians, advanced practice clinicians (APCs), and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based medical care in accordance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with department managers, nursing leadership, and other stakeholders to optimize patient flow, enhance operational efficiency, and improve patient outcomes.
- Serve as a liaison between medical staff and hospital administration, representing the interests of the medical staff and advocating for resources and support as needed.
