We are looking for a high-performing and experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL / Sr. MSL) to support objectives contributing to the innovation at Tempus including supporting our physicians, educating on medical advancements, and compiling insights for future developments. We are seeking a field-based MSL with a strong clinical and scientific background in oncology, genomic testing, and excellent communication skills to educate oncologists, pathologists, and advanced practice providers about Tempus assays and technologies. We are considering candidates residing in NY, NJ, and PA.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial team efforts promoting exchange of clinical / scientific / technical information with regional KOLs, community physicians, medical directors, and other HCPs in the field of oncology, including delivering educational presentations, facilitating speaker engagements (live or virtual), and discussions for clinical research.
• Provide first-class service in clinical science as part of Tempus medical support program to physicians for rapid response to patient NGS test result questions and review of scientific data.
• Support virtual tumor board presentations to multidisciplinary healthcare provider teams to discuss interesting patient cases explaining guideline-recommended treatment options.
• Provide scientific education for internal stakeholders in collaboration with Learning & Development team.
• Attend conferences and other key meetings to facilitate KOL meetings and provide comprehensive meeting synopses and summaries of high-impact abstracts / posters / oral presentations.
• Continuously update internal stakeholders on relevant medical and scientific knowledge as well as proactively sharing market intelligence.

The expected salary range below is applicable if the role is performed from [New York] and may vary for other locations. Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience. Tempus offers a full range of benefits, which may include incentive compensation, restricted stock units, medical and other benefits, depending on the position.

New York Pay Range

120,000-$190,000 USD
