Job description

Seeking a Psychiatrist - Medical Director to join a practice in northern New Mexico.

Responsibilities :

Inpatient and outpatient practice.
1 : 4 call.
11 bed adult inpatient unit with an average census of 6 to 8 in addition to providing ED and hospital consultation.
The outpatient clinic is located adjacent to the hospital on the main campus.

Current Team :

Currently, there are two full-time Adult Psychiatrists, one full-time Adolescent Psychiatrist, one part-time Adolescent Telemedicine Psychiatrist, one Nurse Practitioner, and one Psychologist.

Facility Overview :

194-bed, acute care hospital with a Level III Trauma Center that serves the area of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah. It is the largest metropolitan area within 180 miles and boasts abundant outdoor recreational opportunities, such as world-class skiing, fly-fishing, hiking, camping, easy access to National Parks and Monuments, and many other outdoor adventures are at your doorstep. Easy access to UNESCO World Heritage sites, the world-renowned Santa Fe Opera, and other arts, cultural, and historic locations.
