Job Summary
Answering busy telephones and making appointments for the selected physicians. Responsible for entering and maintaining correct patient and insurance information in computer. Collecting co-pays at check out time and performing referrals as required for insurance company.
Minimum Education / License / Certification Requirements
- High School diploma preferred; Associates degree preferred.
- Previous Medical Office experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills and accurate typing skills required.
- Experience with physician practice management software preferred but not required.
