Job Summary
We are a busy specialty medical practice seeking a full-time Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is a role that combines clinical medical assistant duties with front office administrative support. We are looking for a dependable, organized professional who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment and interested in building a long-term position within our practice.


Responsibilities
This position includes a blend of clinical and administrative responsibilities, including:
• Assisting with prior authorizations and prescription processing
• Obtaining and documenting patient vitals
• Communicating with patients regarding care, scheduling, and follow-up
• Accurate charting and documentation in the EMR
• Pulling, organizing, and filing patient records and documents
• Checking patients in and out and managing front desk flow
• Preparing exam rooms and seating patients
• Managing medical supply inventory
• Preparing specialty laboratory kits
• Answering phones and routing patient messages
• Communicating patient concerns to clinicians
• Supporting daily office operations and additional tasks as needed


Qualifications
• Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
• Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required
• Familiarity with EMR systems and clinical workflows
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Professional, compassionate communication with patients and staff
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
• Reliable attendance and interest in long-term employment
