Georgia Harm Reduction Coalition is looking for an Experienced Medical Assistant to assist in

patient care, patient lab work, patient and laboratory record keeping, office and lab maintenance

under the direct supervision of the Advanced Practice Provider.

Responsibilities Include, but not limited to :

Clinic Duties :

• Records accurate patient history, vital signs, and current medical status (triage)
• Follows OSHA guidelines relating to proper use of handling PPE, needles, bloodborne

pathogens, and disposing of biohazardous materials.

confidence by completing and safeguarding all medical records, keeping patient

information confidential.

subcutaneous injections, including vaccinations / immunizations, as directed by a

physician or other licensed provider (e.g., a nurse practitioner or physician assistant)
