As an off-shift role this position includes a portion of the hours worked being on evenings or nights. Theres also flexibility to work either a 5x8 schedule or 4x10 schedule. Relocation offered for qualifying external candidates!
Collaborate with Director Clinical Director Physicians and clinical staff to manage assess and enhance the provision of patient care services within the Medical Unit on a 24 / 7 basis to meet continuous quality improvement customer service programmatic growth and financial requirements supporting the mission of Seattle Childrens Hospital. Develop implement and monitor staffing plans scheduling and staff development to meet current and anticipated needs and to maintain compliance with patient safety and regulatory requirements.
About the Unit : Medical River / Forest 3 RNs work with pediatric patients from 0-21 years of age. Some of the patient populations we focus on for the medical floor include : general medical critical airways tracheostomy mechanical ventilation and medically complex on respiratory support.
Required Education / Experience :
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelors degree in Nursing.
- A Masters degree in Nursing may be substituted provided the incumbent also possesses a Bachelors degree in another field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.

Compensation Range
$129992.00 - $194988.00 per year
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity skills experience and expertise and may vary within the range provided.
