Job descriptionPrepare for board and medical staff committee meetings Oversee customer satisfaction survey process Assist with meeting memos, conferences and peer review process Maintain employee database and emergency call roster Assist in administrative typing when needed Knowledge of pain management, orthopedic surgery, and anesthesia terminology Knowledge of medical records systems Knowledge of insurance verification procedure Ability to give and receive clear, concise, and accurate directions verbally and in writing
Snelling Staffing is looking for a Medical Records Specialist to also assist the Chief Nursing Officer for an orthopedic clinic in the Baton Rouge area.
Hours : 7 : 00AM – 3 : 30PM
Pay : $18 per hour
Medical Records Responsibilities :
- Audit clinical data into the HST system for each patient
- Organize electronic medical charts
- Coordinate with medical records department for outside record requests
- Shred sensitive personal health information papers
- Perform other office duties as needed
- Assist management with projects as needed
