Role : Registration Specialist - Remote
Hours : Monday - Friday 8 - 5
Pay Rate Range : $ 22 - $ 24 / hour
Job Responsibilities :
Follow up on all insurance claims by web portals, calls or another avenue 30 days after initial claim while Identifying and resolving any issues associated with a claim denial or payment delay
Identify ongoing payer issues / trends and report to the manager
Write and submit accurate appeals, including all necessary documentation
Work with providers to obtain referrals / pre-authorizations for necessary accounts
Contact various payers as needed to verify or obtain information
Communicate effectively with internal and external contacts
Maintain accurate, clear, concise and complete account notes
Comply with all applicable Federal State, and local laws, regulations, and requirements as well as NWP’s policies and procedures of job performance
Maintain confidentiality of all patient and client demographics, medical and financial information at all times
Additional projects assigned by manager Requirements :
High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree is a plus
Active and valid US State-Issued Driver’s License Driver’s License with acceptable motor vehicle record as defined and approved by NWP-NWL vehicle insurance carrier.
