- Answers inquiries and assists customers with requests for electronic or physical case files or records
- Maintains electronic and physical records and files, sorts, merges, and divides documents according to established guidelines
- Reviews, files, and processes electronic and paper documents
- Updates case files, court calendars, and case management systems using information received from courts, and staff
- Prepares physical or electronic files for appropriate dissemination, including dividing, sorting, redacting, and scanning
- Boxes and transports files for destruction or for long-term storage
- Acts as a back-up for receptionist, answers multi-line telephone, screens, and transfers calls, takes messages, greets, and directs visitors
