Job Description
The Senior Manager of Student Records plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the daily operations, strategic direction, and continuous improvement of student records and assessment services. This position requires a proven leader with exceptional attention to detail, a deep understanding of compliance and higher education operations, and the ability to guide high-performing teams in a fast-paced, complex environment. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on operator, capable of driving efficiency, ensuring data integrity, and fostering collaboration across departments to enhance the student experience.
About the Role
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of managers in a complex, student-focused environment, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Oversee daily operations and workflows, ensuring optimal resource utilization and alignment with university goals.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, FERPA, and WGU policies, promoting consistent and accurate service delivery.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Student Records, contributing to strategic university projects and system decisions.
- Drive operational improvements through quality assurance, training initiatives, and process documentation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across WGU to support shared goals and deliver a cohesive student experience.
- Leverage data and insights to evaluate performance, inform decisions, and communicate trends to executive leadership.
- Represent WGU in external associations and support institutional change initiatives as a leader and advisor.
About You
Position & Application Details
