Brief Summary of Work for this Position
The Medical Records Associate functions as a member of a medical records team in support of the clinical and administrative staff in a fast-paced college health center. This position’s primary responsibilities will be managing incoming calls and scheduling medical appointments.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Greeting patients and visitors; answering questions about the Student Health Center services, including immunization compliance and the Student Health Insurance Plan.
- Accurately entering information in the Electronic Health Record and Immunization systems.
- Managing records requests and providing support to the department. A commitment to customer service and confidentiality is required.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work. Preferred education, professional skills and experience
