AMMON Healthcare is seeking an experienced and reliable Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to float and work in busy, high-volume clinics across multiple locations in the Lafayette area . This position is ideal for a CMA who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can stay organized while delivering excellent patient care.
Shift Times : 8a-8p Weekdays and 9a-5p Weekends (May vary slightly per location)
Schedule provided one month in advance.
Temporary Assignment : 3 months
Responsibilities :
- Room a high volume of patients and obtain vital signs efficiently
- Assist providers during exams and procedures
- Perform EKGs, injections, and other clinical tasks as assigned
- Prepare, stock, and clean exam rooms throughout the day
- Accurately document in EMR systems
- Assist with front-desk or patient flow needs as required
- Maintain professionalism, teamwork, and patient-focused care in a busy setting
