A company is looking for a Surgery Scheduler (Patient Affairs Coordinator II) to support their Surgical Oncology team. Key Responsibilities Serve as a liaison between patients and physicians for non-clinical issues Coordinate calendars, schedule surgical procedures, and verify documentation Answer patient calls and perform a range of high-level administrative duties Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a healthcare setting Bachelor's degree and / or EPIC experience is highly preferred Expertise with MS Office Suite applications Broad knowledge of medical practice front office operations and medical terminology Familiarity with insurance plans, ICD-10 / CPT coding, and prior authorization requirements is a plus
