JOB SUMMARY :
The Physician Scheduler is responsible for the management and maintenance of the physician’s schedules in the EHR system to ensure the highest possible utilization of physician time. Day-to-day functions include, but are not limited to, consumer outreach for appointment reminders, scheduling, review of physician schedules, data tracking and reporting. Must be organized, have strong computer and customer service skills, and work well in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate proper telephone etiquette and maintain solid customer relations while maintaining a positive agency image at all times.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Requires a high school diploma or the equivalent, preferably with courses in typing, office administration and computer software.
- Two years of experience in related office work is required.
- Requires ability to work with the public, ability to work with agitated, mentally ill and / or substance-abusing consumers, ability to maintain an effective working relationship with agency employees.
- Ability to maintain a professional manner and confidentiality at all times.
- Ability to manage multi-line telephone system and other communication technologies.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Knowledge in Microsoft office suite, including Excel.
- Must possess an Oklahoma Driver License and use personal automobile to travel to locations other than primary office.
