Family Pet Hospital is searching for a skilled veterinarian to lead our companion animal practice in Topeka, Kansas. Topeka is a family-friendly community located about an hour west of Kansas City, MO. As our current Medical Director plans his retirement, you will have the opportunity to take over a hospital that has been a staple in our community since 1995. In this role you will also build upon our hospitals current strengths, while elevating our services and encouraging new business ideas. Were searching for : Strong leadership skills 5 years of current, hands-on, clinical experience Especially skilled in small animal surgery Veterinarian who trusts their technician and support teams Love for teaching and a willingness to mentor others Commitment to lifelong learning and staying on top of the latest industry developments / tools Eager to build relationships with our small town, community-driven client base Were also willing to train an experienced DVM who is aspiring to become a Medical Director and is eager to develop their leadership skills. As our Medical Director, youll help build out our services and oversee all policies / procedures, ensuring our hospital exceeds expectations and medical standards. This is a full-time, Monday-Saturday role (4 days a week minimum, rotating Saturdays).
