Position Summary
The Mental Health Therapist provides therapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups in a behavioral health treatment center. This role involves assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions to promote mental health and wellness. The ideal candidate will adhere to professional ethical standards, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate a commitment to the recovery and well-being of clients.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Services
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate client needs and establish a diagnosis.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to client goals.
- Provide evidence-based therapy, including individual, group, and family counseling.
- Utilize therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, trauma-focused therapy, or other appropriate modalities.
- Facilitate crisis intervention and stabilization as needed.
