We are seeking a Locum Tenens Psychiatrist in Iowa.

Locum Tenens Psychiatrist

Position Type :

Specialty : Physician - Psychiatry

Location : Iowa

Rate : Open & Negotiable

Shift : PRN (as needed)

Start Date : TBD

End Date : TBD

Position Details :

Patient Population : Adults and Adolescents (ages 6 and up)

Setting : Inpatient Psychiatry, Hospital Consults, ER Consults

Responsibilities : Supervising APPs, providing direct patient care, and taking call

Required Procedures : Family Therapy, Group Therapy, Pharmacotherapy, Seclusion Therapy, Restraint Application

EMR System : Cerner

Support Staff : 2 Advanced Practice Providers

Days Per Month : As needed

On-Call / Weekends : As needed

Submission Requirements :

Board Certified in Psychiatry - REQUIRED
IA License or IMLC - REQUIRED
2+ years of inpatient psych experience - Highly Preferred
Inpatient experience - REQUIRED
Experience treating patients ages 6 and up - REQUIRED
