Overview
New Hope Services (NHS) is proudly celebrating 65 years of service to Southern Indiana and our extended service area. NHS has built the capacity to provide a full continuum of human services from child and family support through ability services. Our unique expertise in developing affordable housing allows us to also partner with the communities we serve to have an even greater positive economic and community development impact.
70.00 / hour – PRN, 8 hours / week
ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
- Review all newly enrolled MIECHV funded families
- Identify families who would benefit from mental health consultation. Additional families may be identified by home visitors or supervisors
- Monthly review of each family for purpose of developing appropriate intervention plan
- Provide monthly (min. 1 hour) individual consultation to home visitors who serve MIECHV funded families
- Monitor and identify trends related to mental health concerns, report concerns to program management
- Conduct training (minimum bi-monthly) to address overall trends and concerns related to mental health, and mental health related training as requested by home visitors, supervisors or program management
- Provide documentation to program management and DCS using provided forms and the Healthy Families database
- Participation in evaluation of mental health consultation services as requested by program management or DCS
- Enter documentation as appropriate and requested in statewide data system (FamilyWise)
- Seek and maintain Endorsement from the Indiana Association for Infant and Toddler Mental Health
