Job Title : Physician Assistant - Cardiology Department
Location : Saint Joseph Hospital, Nashua, New Hampshire
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physician Assistant to join our Cardiology Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in the provision of exceptional cardiac care to our patients.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise exercise and pharmacological cardiac stress testing for both outpatient and inpatient populations.
- Conduct focused physical examinations on patients undergoing cardiac stress testing.
- Interpret 12 lead electrocardiograms (ECG) to assess cardiac health.
- Determine the appropriateness of stress test orders, adjusting or deferring as necessary to ensure patient safety.
- Maintain effective communication with primary care providers, cardiology teams, and hospitalist services to ensure seamless continuity of care for mutual patients.
- Recognize and treat abnormal physiological responses during stress testing to ensure patient safety and well-being.
