Wells Fargo is seeking an Investment Banking Vice President within our Mergers & Acquisitions group in New York City or Charlotte. In this role you will support transaction execution across a variety of industry verticals including Consumer / Retail, Healthcare, Industrials, Power & Energy, Technology / Media / Telecom and Real Estate & Gaming.
In this role, you will :
- Be responsible for independently working with clients and handling complex transactions.
- Demonstrate well-developed knowledge of the entire suite of M&A products and services including buysides, sellsides, carve-outs, spin offs, fairness opinions and activism & defense; this position is directly involved in the origination and execution for existing clients and prospects.
- Assist or drive the delivery of full range of M&A products and services to clients at the executive management level, managing client relationships, and executing mandated assignments.
- Participate in analyzing companies, develop strategies for clients, pulling market and industry research across the M&A product suite
- Develop and train Investment Banking Analysts and Associates in M&A valuation and processes
- Demonstrate high level of initiative and the ability to work within a fast-paced team environment. You must bring strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Precise attention to detail is essential. You must demonstrate a habit of learning and mastering complex material and a practiced ability to communicate the same.
