MRI Tech needed asapPhysical Requirements : Requires moderate to heavy physical efforts in lifting and moving patients, equipment and supplies. Occasional standing, walking, and sitting during normal operation. Frequently may be required to stretch, bend twist, squat or kneel in the daily operation of the MRI department. May be exposed to various physical conditions throughout the day such as walking on hard surfaces, climbing stairs, being near moving equipment. Required to use radiation safety guidelines to prevent exposure to ionizing radiation.Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA approved program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology or active enrollment in a ARMRIT or ARRT registry eligible program required. ARRT (MR) required. BLS (AHA or ARC) required.Completed High School (Diploma or GED)Scrub Color : BlackCertification / Licensure Required : Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA approved program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology or active enrollment in a ARMRIT or ARRT registry eligible program required. ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology, ARRT or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine with advanced registry from the ARMRIT or ARRT in MRI required within one year of hire. CPR certification required. Job Assignment Details : Ability to work in a fast-paced Level I trauma environment, work independently following on-boarding period and produce high quality images. Patient population will be pediatric patients, ED and IPs. Maintain a safe MRI environment. Submittal Packet Requirements : Cover Page, Resume, Proof of required Certifications / Licensure
