We currently have an opportunity for a Junior Welder to join our Peoria, Arizona team. This position is responsible for using metal components to fabricate a variety of equipment and products. Junior Welders prepare parts for builders and clean finished products before shipment. Junior Welders are assigned to a specific area in the manufacturing plant but may also work with other departments. Welders must be able to understand and work with build documents and basic drawings for fabrication.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- TIG weld thin gauge stainless steel sheet metal components together to fabricate restaurant equipment.
- Position and clamp together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding.
- Work with build documents and basic drawings.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Clean finished products.
- Deburr and silicon materials.
- Peel paper.
- Other duties as required.
