Builds and modifies molds according to blueprints and interprets the design into a three-dimensional solid object. Tests, repairs, and delivers molds and tooling. Works closely with production and maintenance as necessary. Maintains a safe work area and may train apprentices in the trade.

PROCESS TECHNICIAN – INJECTION MOLDING

Located in Colfax, NC, Tenn-Tex Plastics, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of high-quality injection-molded plastic parts. Focusing on product development and customer service, Tenn-Tex Plastics specializes in furniture, kitchen & bath cabinetry, and hardware distribution markets. Tenn-Tex is conveniently located next to The Farmer's Market in Greensboro.

Qualifications :

• High School Degree / GED
• 3 years + related experience in plastic injection molding
• Must be experienced in mold set-ups, trouble shooting, and maintenance problems
• Knowledge of robotics machinery (Wittman preferred)
• Good math and computer skills
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
• Time management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Punctuality and Reliability
• Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation
