About this opportunity :
Provides well-organized, efficient, and effective client assistance system for The Salvation Army Emergency Shelter for Women and Children which will provide initial and ongoing assistance to clients in residence. Responsible for the coordination and monitoring of operations and activities including enforcing shelter policies and procedures, maintaining housekeeping standards, coordinating of volunteers, maintaining chore assignments and follow-up.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
Capable of understanding and interpreting the mission of The Salvation Army and its shelter programs. The position requires a moderate amount of standing, stooping, reaching, bending, and lifting. Ability to communicate effectively with other people. The position requires indoor office / shelter environment. The Salvation Army strives to have an environment free from the presence or use of alcohol, drugs, or controlled substances and is smoke free. Position may encounter stressful situations.
