Position Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Loan Analyst / Processor to join our West Hartford, CT office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pre-approving clients and a comprehensive understanding of underwriting guidelines, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA, ensuring smooth and successful loan processing.

This is an in-office position - we are not seeking remote applicants at this time.

Compensation and Benefits :

Compensation :

55,000 - $70,000 annually

Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities :

Support loan officer by analyzing client financials and pre-approving loan applications, ensuring alignment with appropriate loan programs.

Conduct detailed reviews of financial documents, applying in-depth knowledge of loan guidelines.

Communicate with the loan officer, clients, and lending partners to ensure a smooth process and transaction.

Manage and track loan files to ensure compliance and timely processing.

Stay informed on industry updates, lender policies, and new loan products to provide optimal solutions.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably within a brokerage setting.

Proven expertise in pre-approving clients and matching them with suitable loan products.

Comprehensive understanding of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA underwriting guidelines.

Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficiency in mortgage processing software and related tools.
