PURPOSE :
The primary purpose of this position is to assist Silver State Schools Credit Union to live out its Mission, "Excellent Member Service and Financial Solutions - For Life," by providing outstanding service to both members and internal members.

SUMMARY :
Promote the mortgage lending programs to members, credit union employees, Realtor professionals, as well as prospective new members. Solicit loan applications with the purpose of originating and closing profitable, quality first mortgage loans. Council members regarding their mortgage financing goals. Within authorized authority, and in accordance with sound underwriting practices as set out in policy and procedure, examines, evaluates, and recommends approval of borrower's applications for first mortgage loan applications. The incumbent accomplishes the essential duties as follows :
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
An associate or bachelor's degree is preferred with a minimum of three years related experience and / or training in real estate lending; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field. This individual must have or obtain knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional, or any special program as needed and required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS :
Must have or obtain any license, certificates or registration as required by state or federal agencies that are presently required or may be required in the future. Valid automobile Driver License and state required automobile insurance.
