SUMMARY : The Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic Imaging studies across various Imaging modalities. These modalities include CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PET and Diagnostic Radiography. The Technologist is a versatile individual that can float between modalities throughout a work day. The Technologist with or without additional certification in MRI and / or CT must be able to perform any diagnostic x-ray procedure. Employee must be flexible in their work schedule at times. Some call required.
QUALIFICATIONS : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required. HOURS : Monday- Friday 11 : 30AM - 8 : 00PM
Qualifications
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE : Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four year college or university preferred; or one to two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Competency in at least two of the following : CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PET.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS : State Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists- Nuclear (ARRT-N) and / or ARRT-MR and / or ARRT-CT. BLS certification required.
