To perform routine and specialized examinations in MRI; adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic and / or therapeutic results; prepare patients for examinations. To adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic results under the direction of a radiologist

Qualifications
Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months - American Heart Association (AHA); Registered in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) within 1 year - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Education : Associate's Degree : Sonography, Work Experience : 6 months of experience
Responsibilities
Clinical Excellence / Patient Care
- Performs MRI procedures in a manner that ensures an accurate and complete examination within the guidelines, policies, procedures and standards of Medical Imaging
- Exhibits competency in performing MRI procedures.
- Evaluates the finished images to ensure appropriate identification and image quality are being submitted to the radiologists
- Ensures patient comfort and safety (i.e. use of earplugs) to maintain quality care during the procedure
- Possesses knowledge and skills necessary to obtain adequate lab specimens for testing

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $35.82per hour - $61.61per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
