Our Opportunity We are seeking an energetic Multimedia Specialist for our Visual Communication Group in one of our offices in Phoenix, AZ; Los Angeles, CA; Irvine, CA; Chicago, IL; or Farmington Hills, MI. You will work with engineers and scientists to create animations, graphics, visualizations, and interactive presentations that communicate complex engineering concepts effectively. Your work will support analysis, event reconstruction, and client presentations, including court trials.

Responsibilities include : 3D modeling, animation, lighting, texturing, and rendering with technical accuracy

Managing visualization projects from proposal to delivery

Collaborating with engineers and scientists on technical analyses

Conceptualizing visualization projects and contributing creative solutions

Working with data such as laser scans, CAD, and motion simulations

Editing and compositing project assets into final deliverables

Producing graphics and presentations that convey complex concepts

Qualifications : B.S. / B.A. in Animation, CAD, Digital Video Production, or related fields

3-5 years of experience in forensic / scientific / engineering visualization

Expertise in Autodesk 3D Studio Max and Vray rendering

Experience with Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop

Experience working with laser scan data

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Interest in science and engineering concepts

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Experience with accident reconstruction, photogrammetry, camera matching, video analysis is a plus

Knowledge of real-time 3D engines (Unity, Unreal, etc.) is a plus

Additional Information Life at Exponent, our work environment, compensation, benefits, and diversity initiatives are detailed on our website. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience.
