Position Overview
The Clinical Director oversees all clinical direct services programs for the teens and women served by NFNL. This position also carries a caseload for direct mental health counseling and treatment.
Reporting Relationship
The Clinical Director reports directly to the Chief Programs Officer.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversees all clinical direct services programs and services for NFNL teen and adult members.
- Supervises the Clinical Manager and ensures the supervision and development of the agency’s Mental Health Clinicians meets the agency’s high programmatic and ethical standards.
- Ensures the utilization of evidence-based treatment (DBT, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) in the treatment of members with chronic and complex trauma histories.
- Carries a caseload and provides individual and group therapy.
- Maintains accurate notes and documents all sessions and correspondence with clients.
- Maintains relationships with outside providers in the interest of continuity of care for each client on your caseload.
- Attends all staff meetings, direct service meetings, supervision, consultation groups, and trainings and leads the weekly clinical staffing meetings.
- Assists the Chief Programs Officer with the collection and analyzation of programmatic data.
- Performs other duties as requested by the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Programs Officer.
