Bach To Rock ("B2R") America's Music School for students of all ages is seeking a DJ and Music Production Teacher to work as a part-time employee providing music and performance lessons to students.

Want to work in a brand new, state-of-the-art 2600-square-foot music studio ? Music Teachers at Bach to Rock use the curriculum to provide students of all ages with an inspiring and well-balanced music education. By teaching theory and technique using music that students know and love (with copyright royalties paid for by B2R), teachers develop musicians who enjoy performing in bands, recording in our studio, and even composing original music!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Specific duties and responsibilities include the following but the individual will also be expected to perform all the duties necessary which are customarily performed by a person holding this position. Other duties may be assigned.

DJ & / or Music Production Instructor

• Deliver instruction in mixing and scratching on turntables using Bach to Rock's proprietary curriculum and specific methodology
• Deliver instruction in music production using Bach to Rock's proprietary curriculum and Ableton Live
• Adapt to DJ or Music Production students interested in diverse styles (eg : hip hop, pop, rock, house, oldies etc.)
• Coach DJ students for live performances.
• Provide administrative support, as needed.
• Manage classroom time effectively to balance student needs and attention
