NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking a Funeral Arranger to join our team at Skylawn Funeral Home. United by a common desire to serve, Funeral Arrangers at NorthStar share a pride in their profession that extends beyond the workday. The Funeral Arranger is responsible for providing a source of support, guidance, and direction to families before, during and after the loss of a loved one. This position also manages all phases of the funeral arrangement including the removal of the deceased, selecting and setting up funeral services to final disposition.
Responsibilities
- Arrange and assist with funeral and memorial services for families
- Prepare the memorial area for the family before the services start
- Maintain reverence and respect for the deceased at all times
- Ensure that all federal, state, and local regulations related to the funeral industry are followed
