The Human Resources Director position at Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health is an integral part of the leadership team reporting directly to the CEO. This position oversees and is hands-on in all HR functions including recruitment, compensation, benefits, training / orientation, employee relations, workers' compensation and maintaining all personnel records in files and the HRIS system and ensures HR activities are in compliance with State and Federal laws, .

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business administration or related field.

Experience : A minimum of 5 years HR experience required. Must have previous supervisor experience and healthcare experience preferred. PHR, SPHR or GPHR certification preferred.

Requirements : Strong written and verbal communication skills and an understanding of Federal and State employment laws and regulations related to HR. Working knowledge of administering wage / salary programs, benefits, workers compensation, recruiting / retention plans, training / staff development, and employee relations. Requires leadership, organizational, supervisory and administrative abilities including excellent computer skills and knowledge of various software, internet based HR systems and email.
