Job description

Naval Program Analyst

The Opportunity:

As a program analyst, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it's imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That's why we need a program analyst like you who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.

On our team, you'll deliver program management, acquisition, and financial support to a Navy program office. You'll work in a team environment to meet client challenges and provide critical thinking and analysis. You'll build and maintain essential relationships with direct clients and supporting commands.

The real impact of project management comes from communication to ensure the program achieves its goals and meets our quality standards. At Booz Allen, we recognize that we must continuously grow as a team to bring the best support to our clients, so here you'll have all the resources to succeed. This is a chance to influence a meaningful mission while learning how to develop and maintain program strategy.

Work with us and help make sure the Navy program office accomplishes its program goals as we improve fleet readiness and provide direct support to the warfighter.

Join us. The world can't wait.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with program and financial management of government programs
  • 5+ years of experience with the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process
  • Experience with consulting and technical advisement
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to identify and conduct in-depth research, and communicate and propose resolutions to issues
  • Ability to help clients manage, track, and report program status
  • Ability to prepare and deliver executive-level briefings and reports
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with DoD Acquisition or Navy Program Management Offices
  • Experience with Microsoft Project
  • Knowledge of DoD Instruction 5000 series, Adaptive Acquisition Framework, or DoD Financial Management Regulation
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
