Position Summary

SHEIN is hiring a highly analytical and experienced Capacity Planning Manager for the Network Planning Team based in Bellevue, WA. You will play a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency by analyzing inventory positions, forecasting fulfillment center capacities, and supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven insights. You will directly contribute to optimizing supply chain performance by collaborating with cross-functional teams for network planning, S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning), and inventory management.

We're seeking a full-time Capacity Planning Manager for our city-based corporate office.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze inventory metrics and forecast operational throughput for fulfillment centers to anticipate capacity constraints.
  • Develop data-driven capacity plans (short, medium, long-term) for peak seasons and promotional campaigns.
  • Work closely with operations teams to balance demand and fulfillment capabilities.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory health at fulfillment centers, including turnover, stockouts, and excess inventory.
  • Implement strategies to ensure optimal stock levels, minimizing holding costs while meeting customer demand.
  • Assist in designing and optimizing the fulfillment network to meet current and future e-commerce demands.
  • Provide recommendations for fulfillment center expansions, relocations, or consolidations based on data insights.
  • Evaluate transportation and warehousing constraints in the supply chain network.
  • Act as a liaison between operations, logistics, marketing, and procurement teams.
  • Work closely with technology teams to automate capacity planning and inventory analysis processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field. (Master's degree preferred.)
  • 6+ years of experience in capacity planning, inventory analysis, or fulfillment network design, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.
  • Hands-on experience with S&OP processes, demand planning, and supply chain analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced), SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and enterprise planning tools
  • Experience in forecasting methods and capacity modeling.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to present findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and resilience in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Pay

$82,000-127,000 as annual base
