Responsibilities
Program Overview :
The Enterprise Communications Services 3 (ECS3) program is dedicated to enhancing our intel customer's services across various operating locations. Our mission is to assist the organization in its technical transformation by integrating leading-edge technology. This includes developing, implementing, and operating both new and enhanced services. Over the life of the contract, we will focus on continuous service improvements through technology modernization, specifically in Local Area Networks (LANs) , Wide Area Networks (WANs) , Unified Communications (UC) , Video Telecommunication , and Streaming Services .
What You'll Get to Do :
As a Tier 2 Network Administrator , you will be involved in solving complex network issues while ensuring smooth operations across the enterprise. You will work closely with other NOC and operational teams to manage technology upgrades, network router and switch installations, and implement configuration changes. Your experience will be critical in resolving network problems and providing technical resolution reports for critical outages.
Responsibilities :
- Network Installations & Upgrades :
Perform switch and router installations and upgrades to maintain optimal network performance.
Perform system patching and IAVA patches for network routers and switches to maintain security and system integrity.
Conduct approved minor network changes such as VLAN, ACL, and port assignments to meet operational needs.
Troubleshoot network failures and accessibility issues to ensure smooth service delivery.
Manage network service requests, categorizing and prioritizing requests based on type, location, and urgency.
Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for network operations and changes.
Work with minimal supervision in remote locations, providing independent engineering and network problem-solving support.
Travel to other sites for network engineering activities, with up to 50% CONUS travel anticipated.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's with 3+ years of applicable experience; Master's with 1+ years of applicable experience; 4 years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree
Proven experience in network administration, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network devices such as routers and switches.

Target Salary Range
80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
