As a Sr. Network Engineer here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in network administration, design, and troubleshooting as you manage and optimize our network systems. Your proactive problem-solving skills and innovative thinking will be paramount in maintaining the seamless operation of our network, enhancing its scalability, and guarding against potential security threats. In this position, you will have the autonomy to implement best practices, guide projects, and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive network excellence.
You will report directly to our Network Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the reliability, security, and performance of our network infrastructure. With a focus on optimizing our networks and systems, you will ensure they align seamlessly with the organization's evolving requirements. By resolving complex technical issues, implementing system enhancements, and documenting best practices, you will contribute to a seamless operation that directly supports our mission of delivering cutting-edge solutions to industries worldwide.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations and delivery services of the network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain network solutions.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.
- Conduct regular network assessments and capacity planning to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Lead network troubleshooting and incident response efforts to ensure minimal downtime and maximum network reliability.
