About the Role :
Star Sleep & Wellness is ready to welcome new talent to our Clinical Team at our Denton location!
We are excited to continue the growth of our practice with new additions to the team that are passionate about patient care and can add value to our workplace culture.
As a Sleep Technician you will collaborate closely with our doctors and mid-level providers to treat sleep disorders. You will manage a column of patients and handle a variety of appointment types daily. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, highly detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and within a team. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience from the sleep medicine field, supported by either a current or past RPSGT / CPSGT credential. Direct experience working in a sleep lab is a requirement for the role and essential for the success of the individual selected for the position. We value a candidate who advocates for all forms of sleep therapy and actively supports patient compliance with the treatment tailored to their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities include :
- Establish and maintain excellent patient relationships through education and support.
- Conduct CPAP setup appointments, PAP education, and mask fittings for new and existing patients
- Collaborate with sleep providers, DME teams, and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care
- Manage all aspects of patient care for PAP therapy.
- Manage PAP, Oral Appliance & Medications Follow up appointments.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping using the EMR system.
- Advocates for all forms of sleep therapy and actively supports patient compliance
