Job Purpose
The Technologist is a strategic and technical leadership role responsible for driving pre-sales and post-sales activities, overseeing program execution, and providing deep technical expertise in process applications. This role serves as a key bridge between sales, customers, and technical teams, ensuring seamless solution delivery and long-term client success.
Principal Accountabilities
- Lead technical sales engagements, working closely with sales teams to understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions
- Provide technical expertise during customer meetings, presentations, and demonstrations of process applications
- Lead project teams to develop and refine solution proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements, industry standards, and company capabilities.
- Build strong relationships with potential and existing clients, offering insights into technical feasibility and implementation of roadmaps.
- Develop departmental strategic roadmaps and implementation plans, aligning with corporate objectives and client needs.
- Collaborate with client and supplier R&D and product teams to define competitive positioning and value propositions for process applications.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in process applications.
- Drive innovation by building R&D capabilities to enhance product features, capabilities, and performance.
- Any other ad-hoc duties / projects as assigned by the manager
