Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other health team members. Provides and coordinates patient care with other health team members. Monitor and evaluates patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit. Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies. Technical / Motor Skills - Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing / pulling and able to move about when assisting with procedures and / or using department equipment. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Sensory - Visual acuity, ability to effectively communicate Other Requirements : Proficiency in all areas of the clinical laboratory is essential. Must be able to perform complex diagnostic tests and ensure quality control. ASCP Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certification, a valid clinical laboratory scientist license in the state where they will be practicing, and BLS certification are required.
