Job descriptionExceptional Customer Service Skills. Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism. Ability to take initiative and act in the best interest of the animals with minimal or no supervision. Ability to maintain self-sufficiency after training. Computer skills are highly preferred but not required. The ability to quickly learn animal behavior and body language. We would prefer someone who has some experience working with animals but we encourage all interested individuals to apply. Ability to withstand varying weather conditions. Ability to lift / carry 50+ pounds. ((dog food bags, trash bags, etc..) Comfort and capacity to work with animals of uncertain temperament, as well as those who may have medical or other issues. Strength to handle and control large dogs on a leash. They do pull!
About the Job :
We're seeking a passionate Animal Care Attendant to join our highly vibrant and fun team at Spanish Springs Pet Resort! We're searching for someone that shares our enthusiasm and immense love for animals.
Experience is preferred but not essential. This entry-level position. Opportunities for Advancement. Pay can vary depending on Experience. We're seeking full-time and part-time employees to join our amazing team. All shifts are from 10PM-6AM. Key Responsibilities :
- Sanitizing / Cleaning the full facility daily.
- Feeding and caring for the lovely animals we have in the facility.
- Organizing and relocating the pets within the yards may be necessary.
- Properly communicate with other staff members throughout the day.
- Supervised all pets in the facilities yards.
- Ensure the removal of animal droppings from all yards within the facility.
- Maintain a warm personality and a welcoming attitude.
- Sanitize all the play yards within the facility.
- Sanitizing and cleaning all the water and food bowls for the animals.
