Job descriptionAbility to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays. Must be 21 years of age. Working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes. Must possess basic math skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. High School diploma or equivalent is required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain stationary for extended periods of time, reach, and communicate both in person and by telephone. The employee is occasionally required to move up to 50lbs, ascend / descend on ladders, and move in confined spaces. The information contained in this physical standards description is for compliance with ADA and is not an exhaustive list of duties performed. The individuals currently holding this position perform additional duties and additional duties may be assigned. The nature of this job requires that the employee work on-site as a regular work routine.

Located in downtown Tampa, the Straz offers flexible hours, event-based schedules including evenings and weekends, and a team-based work environment. Straz benefits for part-time staff include employee discounts and a 403(b) plan.
The Bartender is responsible for serving beverages to Center guests.
Essential Functions :
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Use POS system to ring orders and accurately maintain inventory.
- Wash and sterilize glassware.
- Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snacks and appetizers for bar patrons.
- Present drink menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas.
- Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies
