POSITION SUMMARY

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides recovery focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the physician. Provides safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care.

Willow Rock is a -bed Psychiatric Health Facility in Alameda County for adolescents - years old who are experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms.

Shifts Available :

Part-Time . | NOC | Shifts : : PM - : AM | Days : Thurs, Fri, Sat

Expected starting wage range is $ - $ per hour. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement and is subject to union membership requirements upon hire.

Shift differentials : % for PM Shift, % for Overnight Shift. Weekend Shift differentials for hourly staff % for Weekend PM Shift, % for Weekend Overnight Shift

QUALIFICATIONS

Required :

• Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) program and current licensure
• Current CPR / BLS certificate
• Must be at least years of age
• Must be CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified on date of employment or within days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment
• All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, -step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment. Additional regulatory, contractual, or local requirements may apply.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, squat, kneel, twist, push, pull and lift and carry items weighing pounds or less as well as to frequently walk, stand, bend, reach and do simple and power grasping. The position requires manual deviation, repetition and dexterity as well as Hazardous Exposure (Blood Borne Pathogens, Hospital Waste, Chemical & Infectious).
