Maverick Currencies is hiring a Day Trader — Forex & Crypto based in Rochester, MN. This is a remote, performance-based opportunity — we fund qualified US traders with up to $400,000 in firm capital and split profits 60% to 90% depending on performance tier.
Based in Rochester? The trading day lands at a workable hour. Central time puts the London/New York overlap — the highest-volume window in forex — squarely in mid-morning local, which is one of the cleanest schedules the market offers. It's a quietly efficient base for someone serious about treating trading as a profession.
Minnesota traders in Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Rochester, and Duluth sit in Central time — same as Chicago. The London/New York overlap hits mid-morning local, and Minneapolis in particular has a deeper independent trader scene than most non-coastal cities.
This is a performance-based contract role. Traders earn through a profit split on returns they generate — typically 60% to 90% depending on experience and performance tier. Estimated annual earnings range from $50,000 to $200,000+ for consistently profitable traders. Compensation is not a fixed salary or hourly wage; your earnings depend entirely on your trading results. Those who cannot trade profitably will not earn income from this role.
Q: What markets will I trade?
A: The Maverick Currencies program focuses on Forex and Crypto, with some exposure to metals. The day-trading rhythm is similar across these markets, and the rule-based systems we teach apply to all of them.
Q: Can I trade my own strategy?
A: Within the program you're learning and executing a defined system. Once funded, you have more flexibility, but the firm has risk parameters that always apply. Traders who try to run wildly different strategies from day one tend not to last.
