We also offer financial wellness tools and retirement planning.Scope : Nuclear Medicine Technologist responsibilities : Perform a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing multiple types of gamma cameras, utilizing proper injection techniques while injecting radioisotopes.Perform IV puncture and administer radiopharmaceuticals via IV when indicated.Prepare exam room, communicate with the patient, obtain informed consent when necessary, and request an accurate clinical history as necessary for the exam.Receive patients, explain method of examination, and position patient.Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols to complete the exam.Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.Requirements : Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year College or Technical School; or a minimum of one (1) year minimum related experience and / or training, required.Current ARRT (R) (NM) or NMTCB as CNMT registry, required.Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required.Now that you know more about being a Nuclear Medicine Technologist on our team we hope you’ll join us.
