Wave Health Partners is searching for an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum coverage in Western Illinois, managing a patient volume of 14,664 annually, equating to approximately 40 patients per day. The role requires participation in acute stroke initiatives and working with a team of healthcare professionals, with shift coverage needed for both day and night. Candidates must have an active Illinois medical license and certification in ACLS and BLS, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience and ABEM certification.
Wave Health Partners is seeking EM Physician candidates for locum coverage in Western Illinois . Below are some brief details of the assignment.
- 14,664 Annual Volume (40 pts / day)
- Admission Rate : 7%
- ED Beds : 10
- 12-hour MD Shifts (8a-8p, 8p-8a) - both day and night coverage needed
- 12 hours of APP coverage
- EMR : Cerner
- Must participate in EDAP & Acute Stroke Ready Hospital Initiatives
- Trauma Designation : Stroke Center
- Subspecialty Backup : ENT; Peds; GI; Optho; Ortho; Surgery; Behavior Health; Obstetrics
- ABEM with 2 years experience
- Active IL medical license and DEA
- Active ACLS and BLS
