Job Summary
The Sr. Imaging Services Specialist provides staff development expertise as an educator, consultant, facilitator, and change agent. Facilitates the educational process through assessment, development, planning, implementation and evaluation of competency assessment, and continuing education. Will work collaboratively with imaging leadership to ensure quality improvement, staff development, safety and regulatory requirements are met. Serves as a resource to analyze monthly operational and quality metrics / statistics. Assures quality care and compliance with internal standards as well as accreditation / regulatory bodies. Collaborates with leadership to prepare and coordinate regulatory safety surveys. Supports department quality assurance and safety program. Assists leadership with regulatory education and compliance for all Radiology Staff. Develops and presents orientation program to new employees. Develops department and job specific competencies for imaging employees. Organizes, plans, and presents Radiology specific in-service programs for staff. This role supports the organization’s vision and mission promoting and providing excellence in imaging care.
Pay Range
Minimum $60.07 Midpoint $79.59 Maximum $99.11
Experience
- Required : Minimum three (3) years of experience in the specialty area including :
- Nuclear Medicine and / or PET / CT
- Preferred : Two (2) years of clinical education experience in the specialty area. Pediatrics experience strongly preferred. One (1) year of mentoring / teaching experience
